Steel connection EN 1993-1-8: Limitation for bolt vertical spacing?

Hello.

I'm trying to design a steel connection using EN 1993-1-8.

In output, here have a remarks as below;

  Bolt vertical spacing is too large. 240 [mm] > 154 [mm]

Please I need know how calculated the 154[mm].

and Can I ignore the Remarks?

tp - end plate thickness

tfc – column flange thickness

max. distance =    min (14.0*tp, 200.0) = min( 14.0*24.0[mm], 200[mm]) =  min ( 336[mm]; 200.0[mm] )  = 200[mm]

max. distance = 14.0*tfc = 14*11[mm]  = 154[mm]

The smaller of these two applies so it is 154 mm.
