Steel Connection Design Issue

Hi,

When trying to use the connection design module on a steel truss I have created I get the below error when I try to create a new connection design:

'Number of detected common nodes: 1

Number of created connections: 0

Remarks:

- program is unable to define connections for the current code: 1'

Can you please clarify the cause and how I can resolve the issue.

Please note some of the sections used were non standard sections and were created within 'New Section - Parametric'

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi @andrew_cross1

Probably section type is not supported for this connection. Please share your model for verification.

Hi @andrew_cross1

In Robot truss connection diagonals can be defined using rectangular or circular tubes.

Diagonals are not recognized when defined as I sections.

Please refer to Available sections for connection definition in Robot Structural Analysis
