Hello all,
I am facing an issue with Robot 2023 and Revit 2023 and cannot find any solution for it (I have also asked the Revit forums and still no answer).
Basically I have created a very simple structure with Revit 2023. After turning the model to Analytical and adding forces, I transfer the model to Robot for RC design. I do the analysis, get the required reinforcement and do provided reinforcement design. The structure is 4 columns and 4 beams.
As suggested from the documentations, I then "update the model" from Robot to Revit. According to video tutorials and documentations, the provided reinforcements (which was designed in Robot) should show in Revit and all I have to do is create sheets. However, nothing shows in Revit.
My question is if that feature is still available between Revit and Robot 2023. I am sure previous versions would transfer the rebars and you can clearly see it in Revit. Also, I have checked visibility and the transfer report and there are no errors. Can someone please let me know what is the procedure and if that is still available. If not, have they changed this where you design in Robot, but manually have to add each rebar to the elements in Revit?
One other question, when I define columns and beams in Revit and transfer it to Robot, Robot only shows it as a structural member and not as columns and beams. I have to then manually change each member to their respective element definition. I am not sure if that is an error or not.
Appreciate any help,
HRH
