Saving results only for selected nodes

Hello,

is there a way to save results only for selected nodes?

When performing TH analysis, 20 s with 0,002 s of saving intervals the space required for the calculation and the size of result file are huge.

If it would be possible to store the results only for selected nodes, it could help a lot. So far I have find a solution.

Thanks.

Hi nipsu,

Use SSD pro hard drive, I've succesfully managed a results file of 60Gb!!!!!! Here you can find the blog article: https://roboting.wordpress.com/2014/01/01/more-than-80000-bars-in-one-hour-with-dxfimporter-for-robo...

Cheers

Hi Rafael,

Unfortunately I'm not the programmer of this add in, this was made by a professional super programmer, and not for free...
The add in stop to work with robot 2016, it was a wonderfull plug in that help a lot the modeling process, specially in the model posted in the blog article.

Cheers

probably it is still useful. Which RSA is compatible with it?

How much does it cost?

Thanks everybody for your contribute.
I solve the problem by using bigger hard drive (like Stefano).
I was looking anyway to an alternative computational method, let´s say something that stores data at i-step for calculation of step i+1, deletes data of step i-1 and only for specified nodes stores data in every step. It could be very nice to have it in some future version of robot, it´s somehow annoying to have results for 10000 nodes when 20 nodes are sufficient.
I gave a look to the macro, it seems that all data need to be available and then the macro extracts data for selected nodes, can be useful for post-processing but does not reduce the size.

Cheers
