RSA2016 nodes - Graphical problem

Anybody else having this?

nodes with supports.jpgnodes without supports.jpg

I Only have nodes in the window (XY projection) , everything normal (left pic) , buf if I turn off the supports showing , or go to a XY plane where there are no supports ,even with supports showing turned on , the nodes will almost vanish(right pic). Very hard to visualize them on screen!!!!

Everything works normally if I have nodes + panels or objects like polylines.

Nodes also "disappear" if I have nodes + bars

Antialiasing turned off on Robot and on Graphic card setup, openGL on , default acceleration , selected nodes turned to green , selected bars and panels to red.

Everything else on default

It is a really annoying issue in Robot, that user cannot change the visual size of the nodes.

Hi Romanich,

Node size never bothered me at all until now.

I was starting to use RSA 2016 when this happenned and made me come back to RSA 2015 as it become really difficult to model without visualizing the nodes.

But I know this is a local issue because in a coleague´s computer just beside me ,everything is fine.

That´s why I asked if anyone else had had this.

By the way , probably you already know ,but just in case  , node size will be increased when you set symbol size at 60(60 to 100,same size) , although it will turn into a blue little square and when you select it will keep it´s original green round size. Labels ,of course, will be huge!!!!Smiley Surprised

Hi dear Rafacascudo,

why don't you try to rename the CfgUsr folder? It can be a problem related to you personal settings in visualizing...

Good luck, cheers

Could you try to edit registry of RAS 2016 and set:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Structural\RSA\29.0\Viewer*MSAA-Enable* false

In addition to the change in the registry:

1. Rename mview.dll file in System\Exe folder of RSA 2016

2. Unpack and copy the new version of this file there

The above change was included in SP2 for RSA 2016. Please download and install the latest SP for this version from:

Thanks,

I've change the registry and also pasted the new mview.dll. Although the nodes are a little bit more visibles, I'd like even bigger. How can I change it manually?
