RSA Pro 2014 - problem with opening file

Hi,

I just install RSA Pro 2014 and keep my 2013 installation (because since 2013SP3, there is a "new" beam checking, then if you open an old file, some beams may be under sized with 2013 SP3).

My problem is the following :

I created a file in version 27.0.5 (RSA PRO 2014 SP5) but i can't open it now. A box says me that my file have been created with the newest version of software.

when i look at the properties of my file, i see that my file have been modified with the version 28.0.0 (RSA Pro 2015??). But this is impossible

Sometime i can open it but RSA2014 crash if i want to run calculation.

So i don't know what to do now.

Je viens d'installer RSA Pro 2014 SP5 après beaucoup d'hésitation, tout en conservant l'installation 2013 (la raison est simple, à partir du 2013SP3, il y a une vérification en plus et qui est très contraignante. Pour les affaires en cours ou susceptible de revenir, je prefère les ouvrir avec la 2013 afin d'éviter de dire à mon client que sa structure ne passe plus...)

J'ai donc créé un fichier de calcul, créé donc en version 27.0.5. Le prblème est que je ne peux plus l'ouvrir. RSA Pro 2014 me dit que le fichier a été créé avec la version plus récente de robot. Lorsque je vais voir les propriétés du fichier, la dernière modification a été faite avec une version 28.0.0 (RSA 2015 ???).

Je suis complétement bloqué de ce fait.

Could you attach this file? 

On the other hand if you can see in the file properties the information about version 2015 it means that it WAS saved in this version (or its beta release in case you participated in this program).

Thanks for your response.

This file is heavy (95Mo) because of modal analysis. This a file i have created myself on my PC, not a file someone else have given to me.

I do not install any version of 2015 so it is impossible for me to save a file with 2015 version.

Something strange just happening: i try to open on other computer: I can open it but crash when i run calculation.

In the properties (on the other PC), the modified version is 27.0.5.

On my post, the modified version is 28.0.0.

I don't understand anything. 😕

Try to save the file under a new name without results and then zip it. If it is small enough attach it directly to your post. Otherwise check:

In the file properties there is no information about vwersion 2015 but how it behaves (crash on RSA 2014 and calculations with no issues on RSA 2015) suggest that the file was created with RSA 2014 > saved in 2015 > saved in 2014 again.

As it is a frame model I saved it as str file from RSA 2015 assuming your settings of Robot are French.

Ok, i don't understand how it's possible, as i have explain to you, we don't have Robot autodesk 2015 in my compagny.

I take your solution, but i am afraid for the incoming models .
