Robot Structural Analysis stops running

Hi,

I am producing a robot model for a inner part of a building (it's separated by movement joints) and for some reason when I hit the analysis, it freezes after while.

I confess I am not really experienced on Robot and I expected some errors when developing the structure. However, I am not able to fix them as the analysis doesn't complete, the software stops responding.

Can someone help me with this, please?

hi @Gabriela.Bercot

try <Analysis> <Verification> and solve problems first.

Hi @Stephane.kapetanovic

I fixed the errors (red ones). The warnings I also looked and changed what needed, but more and more appears afterwards and I can't still complete the analysis for this model.

hi @Gabriela.Bercot

this is mainly due to too close nodes and overlapping panels, it is recommended to solve the blue lines too.

That's fair, I am really lost how to sort this. I don't really understand the 'overlapping panels' messages if they are set up in different stories

Hi @Gabriela.Bercot , from my experience, overlapping members/panels means that there are two or more entities with the same geometry. Then, while we see one entity, there may be more than one.

To solve this issue, usually I select the panel/member candidate with rectangular selection. If in the selection box appears more than one object, duplicated objects must be deleted.
