Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2026 HotFix 1 is available for download!

As a result of detailed information from customers, the following were identified and fixed:

Analysis

Corrected design spectrum definition for seismic analysis according to Portuguese NP EN 1998-1:2010/A1 2013 design code.

Corrected calculations of Time History analysis for a model with elastic supports concerning Hilber-Hughes-Taylor and Newmark-acceleration methods.

Corrected zero base shear value for Spectral Analysis Seismic load cases when automatic base shear calculated with disregard density and load to mass conversion was set for specific modal analysis case.

General issues

Corrected program instability when printout composition containing tables was exported to MS Word document.

Corrected translations of descriptions in the steel design and seismic analysis dialogues.

Steel design

Increased to 180 yield limit for the web of doubly symmetric I-section in bending for NZ_3404 specification.

Corrected wrong reduction for steel capacity depending on section thickness for Japanese AIJ-05 steel design code.

Improved verification for deflections of variable actions in SLS combination.

Timber design

Corrected load duration factor CD for load combinations with response spectrum seismic case according to Tab.2.3.2 of ANSI/AWC NDS-2012 ASD code.

However, since installing the hotfix, this window has appeared when I create a new project:

@Romanich

Thank you for highlighting the HF1 here! I contacted you regarding the warning you mentioned.

@WALIDGIO, for Hotfixes, release notes are available in Autodesk Account (Roman mentioned them in his post).

Thank you @Konrad.O.
I was actually looking for the release notes in the Help section, similar to how it's done for Revit updates.

It might be a good idea to include Hotfix details there as well, so users can easily track changes and updates in one central place.

The solution to the warning that showed up for Roman was to clear (recreate, keeping the backup copy) the CfgUsr folder. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2026
  2. Rename the CfgUsr folder to CfgUsr1.
  3. Restart Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional.
