Releases vs DSC algorithm

for modal analysis it is required to use the DSC algorithm, right?

and if I have a steel structure and I have also assigned the releases manually for them from the geometry menu, Is that mean I doubled the releases? Please help to understand that, if there is a post on that thing also.

No, you don't double release conditions.  DSC is only another method to produce released Degree of Freedom.

Normally release is solved by the reduction of the released DOF.  DSC algorithm creates special element which simulates the release.

So, what I understood that why I shall assign the releases between steel structure elements manually if I checked this option. Because when I remove the releases and keep the DSC algorithm, the instability type 3 disappears.
