Relative code tolerance for residual forces and displacements

I have a building model with tension only braces.

Model is not converging using the default code tolerance of 0.0001. But it converges if I use 0.009 for some combinations and 0.004 for others.

Results seems to be ok.

I´m using matrix update after each division.

What are the consequences of using this 0.009 code tolerance and is there any better way to make the model converge.

thx

Please check Precision values in Reactions table. If they are reasonable small the results are OK.

It is dafe to set nonlinear calculation tolerance up to 0,005 but after calculation please always check Precisions.

Thx, larger value for Precision Value 1 is 6.94591e-003 and Precision Value 2 for the the same combination is 1.71248e-012. Combination is made from 4 different load cases. I think it´s ok , isn´t it??
