RC column design required reinforcement

I try to understand how robot is calculating the reinforcement for the columns (and beams). I did a test, using 1m tall column 600X600mm. I applied at the top of the column some loads and then run the calculation at the required reinforcement module. I can't understand what kind of reinforcement distribution is the robot considers . Does Robot calculates bi axial moment or calculates the reinforcement for each side of column and then adds them? At my test model for bending moment equal along each side (My=Mz=200kNm), the required reinforcement is not the same along b and along h side (why?) There is also some small difference if I apply the moment along the one axis each time (DL4- only My, DL5- only Mz). What is the right working flow? first we must run the required reinforcement, decide the reinforcement that we will use and after apply this reinforcement to solve again the column with provided reinforcement module?

Are there any verification examples ( simple column design by hand and by robot) available?

What code regulamentation are you using?

Here is an example:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“The most powerful force on the universe is compound interest.”

I'd suggest looking at the cprresponding Help topic first:

It is.

The amount of required reinforcement is based on the equilibrium forces in the cross section and you should run the design of reinforcement entering the list of all combinations you want to include in this process. There is no need to use the required reinforcement module first - you can go directly to the provided one.

Hello,

Could some one explain to me this topics

http://help.autodesk.com/view/RSAPRO/2015/ENU/?guid=GUID-84324591-17D9-460E-AF1E-DBD2AF363F8C

I can't understand because robobat gives me the total area of rienforcement and not As1, As2 As3 and As4 as shown in the topics (i know for symitrical raisons, As1=As2 and As3=As4); i use BAEL91 (Frensh standard), is ACI318 gives

the values of each side einforcement AS1,......

Sincerly

Another question: Whay the corner rebars are cumputed with AS1=AS2 and not As3=AS4

Sincerly
