Radial and tangential support on cylinders

I have a tunnel lining model in Autodesk Robot, is there a way to apply a separate radial and tangential stiffness to supports at the nodes which are applied locally to the panel rather than globally to the node? 

 

When I apply the supports to the panel they are applied in the y and z axis globally and they need to be applied locally at that point.

In the support definition dialog, choose Planar tab and define the support with Local direction

Alternative solution is to define elastic support at the thickness definition.  This way you can obtain reactions display in form of maps.

Hello Thank you for your suggestion, As the support will be non rigid i cannot apply this rule at the nodes as there is no such option for the elastic support. Additionally is it possible to use radial and tangential stiffness's separately as they will be both the Fz local axis.

Global/Local support option works for any support type, not only rigid one.

I don't quite understand you question about  using radial and tangential stiffness's separately.
