Punching shear module not working

Hi,

For some reason the punching shear module in the RC Design is not picking up any points in a particular model despite doing so fine in others.

Any idea why??

RSA version: 26.0.4.4461 (x64)

I tried to attach the model, but it is too large, even without results, so there is a yousendit link here: https://www.yousendit.com/download/WFJXWUhnUzhTRTdOUjhUQw

Thanks

Punching is not checked in locations where columns 'overlap' with beams (check is done for the real sizes of these elements).

Ok, that's fine.  But what about all the columns that don't have beams connected?   Screenshot attached.

Thanks!

I can't see any such problem for these panels.

That looks all fine! So what can I do to get the verification points to show up for me !?
Thanks

My steps were:

1. Calculations of the whole model (static analysis)

2. Calculations of required reinforcement for these two panels

3. Selection of both panels and their export to the RC Provided reinforcement module

Ok, for some reason it is now working. I stripped out the results and started solving it all over from scratch.
Thanks for your help !

Hi Artur,

Some problems appearing again on this same project with the punching shear module - screenshot and model attached.

Panel numbers 293 & 298.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

My steps were:

1. Opening model ( I ignored reported instabilities of type 2 bit you should address them)

2. Calculations of the model

3. Calculations of required reinforcement for these two panels

4. Export of these panels to the RC Slab Provided Reinforcement model

5. Generation of reinforcement (pressing the calculations button)

6. Switching to the punching layout

Hi Artur,

I did these steps exactly and get the same problem I posted before, with columns and walls 'floating' around the slab.  I am also getting errors in the reinforcement calculation window, screenshots attached.

I am noticing RSA giving me a lot more graphical/computational errors recently when previously it has been working fine, could it be that it has become corrupted??

Thanks

Try to delete the slab from the Inspector first and then follow the steps I described. If you still have same situation record the movie so that I could exactly follow your actions.

Ok, deleting from the inspector worked, punching points now showing up where they should be and the errors have gone.

Thanks

Hi

For some reason, I don't know why, the provided reinforcement and punching of slabs is not getting displayed in the RC Design Section. There is no problem with the required reinforcement.

Would highly appreciate if anybody could help me.

I am attaching my Robot file for your reference
