Provided Reinforcement - Column - what are Advanced Options?

Hello.

Provided reinforcement (Column) > Calculation options > Advanced option

Here we have three options to select: shear considered, cracking considered and stresses considered. How does it influence the calculation? What's the meaning of each option?

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous

By default the RC Column is designed against ULS axial force + bi-axial bending. By marking these check boxes you include shear forces and SLS conditions (crack limit and allowable stress value) as well.

Thanks for your answer. Just one more question. Is this allowable stress value referent the item 7.2 of eurocode 2?

Thanks again,

Camila.

Your insight on this should be added to the RSA documentation -- which currently does not give this information:
