Problem with Analysis type

Hi guys I wonder if some one can guide me around here.

I'm a new used for Robot so please forgive me if I'm asking about something obvious.

I'm using RSA 2018 and I noticed that in my model all the load types are by default created in the nonlinear-static analysis type - see attached snapshot - RSA - Nonlinear load cases.jpg

and when I try to change it to the linear-static type and run the calculations it return again to show as nonlinear-static or if i saved the model and logout the next time I open the model I find the Analysis type shown as nonlinear analysis.

So I don't know if I'm doing something wrong here or is there something in the setting need to be corrected to keep the analysis type as linear-static as it need to be.

Hi @Anonymous

This is because you have geometrical none linearity   like elastic foundation with uplift , Cables , Truss members, None linear release

thanks Mustafa for the reply. and sorry again for asking another naive question because I'm new on using this software but will that effect the accuracy of the generated stresses in the members of the results can be reliable on members design.

Hi @Anonymous

It wont effect the accuracy of generated stress . It will give the exact stresses. this is normal when you have geometrical none linearty

Accuracy will be perfect but results can be different from a linear analysis case.
You just have to be sure that the nonlinear element you assigned was intended or not
