Portal frame design

Hi Autodesk

1 I am designing a portal frame in Robot but am not sure how to get the apex bracket as a haunch as it only allows a full beam to beam connection and not a haunch as reqd. Can you tell me how to do this?

2. Also I have tried to input the connections in connection design but I am not sure it has taken account of my inputs. When you input the bracket connection how do you get it to run this and verify if ok?

3. Is there a special section of the tutorial for portal frames as I could not find anything?

Thanks Patrice

Hi Rafal, re number (1) I did that but in the connection design section it does not allow for a haunch at the apex of the portal frame- how do you do this? How do you run the connection design or get it checked for point number (2)? Thanks Patrice
