Hi I'm trying to generate pile reinforcement on Robot and send it to Revit.
This is what I did:
I modeled my structure on revit using pile caps:
Then I sent the model to Robot. I draw a bar to represent pile and used BIMware REX piles to generate elastic supports.
After that, I generated reinforcement for that pile and sent it back to Revit. However, the result is this:
The previous pile cap is replaced by a footing. It also places a footing at the end of the pile.
This is what the analytical model looks like:
What is the best way to design piles on Robot? The BIMware add-in and this video was all that I could find.
Then, how can I send rebars to my revit model? I cant find any information.
