P-DELTA EFFECT

HI all

 I using Robot structural but i can find check with  P-DELTA EFFECT P-delta effect. (4.4.2.2 (2)). And I have some question.

Question 1 : Robot can check P-delta effect?

Question 2 : When I check P-delta effct with my hand I can find them?

Ptot :Total gravity load at and above story considered in seismic design situation same pictural in Robot structural i am right?

dc for X,Y direction  : story displacement determined by linear analysis can you show me with pictural in Robot structural?

For Pdelta , click on Analysis types , select the case or cases , click on Parameters and mark Pdelta

Thank Rafa, But can you tell me more? I don't have the imformation about delta effect. (4.4.2.2 (2)) eurocode EC8 in Robot

Hi @Anonymous

I'm not sure what exactly you need. Assuming that you  want to use the Equivalent lateral Load method and you can't determine if the condition you indicated is fulfilled just create a combination with this load case and set the analysis type as P-Delta for it.

Hi @Anonymous

I think You are looking for P-delta checking for seismic load not for P-delta analysis.

If  that correct  please explain to me what you want exactly and according which code in order to help you.
