Hi everyone,
I applyied OFFSETs to both ends to a beam and realized that the Concentrated loads applyied directly to it moves to a different position. See figure bellow.
Is it that the way the OFFSET command is supposed to work?
See bellow the way the load was applied to the beam.
Yes, it is correct, if the bar changes its effective ends through offsets , bar loads will follow.
But you can apply the load directly to node 20 instead.
