Numering of bar elements

Hello,

I've got a very large model with over 4000 bars and I'm trying to sort out the numbering of them such as:

columns - bars 1 to 250

girder beams - bars 251 to 300

primary beams - bars 501 to 2000

and so on

Trying to do a geometrical numering since I believe this will help in the future.

It's been fine till primary beams where i get the error message below:

Can you please let me know how to solve it?

Try to renumber all bars so that their numbers start at e.g. 5000 and then use the geometrical numbering according to the list you provided.

Thanks, eventually I've sort it out increasing the node numering step for Y and Z.

Not sure I full understand how the tool works:

I have to increase the node numbering step because I've got too many elements in that axis/plane? also have to use values of spacing (in Y & Z) bigger than the dimensions in plan of my structure?
