Number of generated combinations

Hi

Please find the attached files.

I set number of generated combinations equal to 64000.

I have 32 live load cases. I used simplified combinations and calculated.

In design module, the message displays that the combinations exceeded 32000.

Why this issue occur?

How can I solve it?

I would suggest you to Define relation in Code Combinations

or open file in repair mode

or delete all combinations, set correct natures to simple loadcases, create combinations again

however still returning same message?

please send us model

Maybe Rafal ,Artur , or Pawel can suggest a better solution

You will not get it working neither in Robot nor in RC module.

Reduce number of live loads or adjust Relations to genarte  reasonable number of combinations in Model, convert thjem to manual combinations and import to RC dmodule selecting "Manual Combinations"

Hi Rafal

Thank you for your answer.

I used required reinforcement, it was done well.

When using Provided reinforcement, I got this problem.

But in this model \ in model space you used Simplified Combinations, not Full ones.

Hi Rafal

Thanks for your reply.

I indicated in my first post that I used simplified combination.

What should I do?

Sorry I missed that

What should I do?

Open combinations table, display code combinations select all of them, click right hand mouse button on table, convert Components to Manual Combinations, then while importing element to RC provided module select Manual Combinations.

I tried it several times, but I couldn't manage it.

Please a screencast.

Hi Rafal

Please find the attached files.

I tried simplified combination for one column, the result was 26036 combinations.

While using provided reinforcement for the column, the message "Number of combinations exceeds 32000" display.

Why should this happen?

Example:

Of course in your file with full model it will take much longer because you have thousands of combinations to be converted.
