Nodes and Adjoining bars

If a beam is supported off another beam, does RSA analyze differently when 1)  you make supporting beam a continuous bar as shown in attachment  and 2) you split the bar at point/s of connection with supported beam/s?

No need to split the main beam. Just take care the secondary beam end node is aligned with the main beam.
