Moving load on truss

Hi,

I am trying to understand how does moving load works on the truss.

I tried to create a truss and apply a moving load but the moving load was not available as an option.

I created a frame (similar to a truss) and released all members as can be seen in picture No. 1.

I defined the moving load path on the bottom chord and perform the analysis but the result is not as it should be.

I move the loaded path down the truss and another weird result happens.

Can anyone help with this issue?

As far as I understand, when the load moves on the bottom chord the bending moment should be only on the bottom cored not any other members.

Thank you

Hi @basheer.algohi

Delete releases on top and botton chords, and try with a single nodal load, and look if the bending moment shape is correct;

Your moving loads are applied to the whole structure instead of lower chord.

When you define the route don't select "automatic"
