Monopole design - meshing

Hi everyone,

I'm currently designing a monopole, I would like to perform a non-linear analysis (large displacement) but I can't find a way to make converge the calcs.

I have tried several meshing methods, as well as the settings very often recommended on this forum.

As you can see in pics attached I have a meshing issue. 

Can someone help me with that?

Hi, I have found out what was the problem.

I couldn't change the mesh even when hitting the 'mesh unfreeze' button.

I just copied and pasted the model in a new file and was able to modify it.
