Modelling a piled retaining wall in Robot

Hi,

 

In ROBOT I am trying to accurately assess the deflections of a retaining wall formed from a series of concrete encased steel plunge columns.

 

Has anyone ever done something similar before?

 

I have currently modelled the wall as UC columns with elastic nodal supports (using the spring stiffness calculated for the soil) below formation level to represent the soil. Is this a reasonable method or can anyone suggest a better method?
