I'm running both a modal and an equivalent static analysis on the model I have attached so that I can compare the forces in the core walls and I am coming across a few problems with mass.
Firstly, the seismic masses are different between the two analyses, which are both different from what I expect (Dead + 0.3*Live, which can be found from the base reactions)
Secondly, the mass participation is nowhere near the 90% required for modal analysis. I'm wondering whether this is because the model is too stiff, or I have missed a step somewhere.
