Modal analysis

Olá,
Estou com esse erro sempre que tento executar análise modal para uma viga biapoiada. "O número de gruas de liberdade dinâmicos é igual a 0".

Alguém sabe como resolver?

Um abraço!

I suppose that you have to define additional nodes. In the current scheme, all your nodes are fixed, so there are no dynamic degrees of freedom.

Hi @Anonymous

I'd say you should follow the suggestion posted by @Romanich for the accuracy of the results but for the model as you defined it you have to use the consistent mass matrix to have any dynamic degree of freedom as otherwise they are in nodes which cannot move being supports.

Thank you @Artur.Kosakowski and @Romanich.
I just had to create additional nodes without bar division.

Problem solved!
