Hi,

I am very new to Robot structural application. Could someone help me understand those map results from top envelope? Note this is a result for pile slabs for top envelope.

1) Finite Elements centers-  What kind of results does it show generally?

And in 17.41/50.58 . Does it mean the min value of one of the combination from envelope/ max value from other combination from the envelope at the same node? Thats why it is / ?

2) Extreme points- Does it give the one min and one max value of all the load combinations from top envelope?

3) Extreme points on panel- Is it same as in extreme points?

4)Characteristics points- Are these the peak moments as shown in picture  but lower than max peak moments from all load combination of top envelope?

4) Indicated graphically- It is simply just the graphical patches of moments .

Thank You

Hello,

1-"Finite element center" shows all the values at center of finite element (typical configuration) but is dependent on the view zoom level. Need to refresh to see values that you can't.
 17.41/50.58  are the min and max for the load case(s) or combination(s) currently active;

2-Extreme points are what they are, extreme maximum values for the currently active load case(s) or combination(s);

3-Yes

4-Each panel has a set o characteristics points, it shows the value for them. In you case, they would be the supported nodes.

4-Don't show "text" values, to se those you will need to hover your mouse in a certain zone

When in doubt, push the help button to read documentation. Can be quite helpful sometimes. After a few years working with RSAP I still find myself pushing the help button a lot of times lol

Would you mind elaborating?  1-"Finite element center" shows all the values at center of finite element (typical configuration) but is dependent on the view zoom level and 4-Each panel has a set o characteristics points, it shows the value for them.
