Load on the panel edge

Hello!

I would like to add a load to one of the panels edge. I know only the weight of the load. Which load type should be chosen here - surface or bar? If I have a 1000 kg weight, how should I convert it to kPa or kN/m nowing, that the weight is located only on the edge.

you can apply load on edge as this picture.

And using M (kN*m/m) I can type a weight there multiplied by 9,81 m/s^2, cannot I?
