Inverted Triangle Load

Hello,


I am a very new user to Robot. I am trying to decide if it is worth it to jump ship from our other FEM software. Anyway, I am trying to create an inverted triangular load on a retaining wall. I am trying to simulate a seismic load. I have searched the internet for this topic and have come up short. Any help would be great please?

not sure about what is inverted triangle load , but probably you will achieve using the following load types

I have attached a sketch of what we consider an inverted triangle load. I have explored those two load types you showed. I have not been able to make it work with either one. Any other ideas would be much appreciated.

Just pay attention to the figure . Pressure  P1 corresponds to the coordinate on point A. P2 to  point B and P3 to point C.

Hello,

 

Sorry to revive this. How does it work if the inverted triangle load in ends a distance below the top of panel? When I try to define the points, my load just shows up at the top of the panel. For example in attached, I defined the triangle to end at 7 m elevation, but it shows up at the end panel point which is 11 m.

I think. You have to divide the wall into two pieces. as picture
