In fact , there is a way to make RSA show the displacements on each of the 3global axes. I have thought about this sometime ago , but never really needed to execute it.
But if you really need to show it graphically , maybe it is worth the extra work , which probably will be more easily done with the aid of an API.
I modelled a simple bar frame as an example. The "trick" is to attach tiny panels to each bar node . These tiny panels shall have a material that is weighless, with very low" E"(small stiffness) and/or with a very small thickness. For this example I just made it with 1mm thickness ,concrete.

Attach them to the bar nodes with rigid links

Then Using "Maps..." results on "Principal" tab ,you are able to get the displacements on each of the 3 global axes directions

Still using the Maps... dialog you can set to have the above deformed shape using the "Deformation" tab.
Then you can use it to also show the global X deformation

Probably Robot will report an instability type 3 warning , which can be ignored.
