How to model a column supported by a beam

Hi,

I am trying to design a column that is supported by a beam. see picture below.

When i import the beam in the Provided reinforcement module, Robot does not recognise that the beam who support that column. How can i solve this?

I have no problem attaching a Robot file containing the model but I think it won't help much because I'm not sure such a model can be feasible in Robot since the design in question is not recommended in seismic standards but it is widely used in current building in my country.

The objective I am trying to achieve is to make the reinforcement of the column supported by the beam and not by the ground, this type of column I think is called "planted column" in English (in French " poteau raidisseur").

Most of the time this type of columns is used for aesthetic reasons in buildings so as not to interfere with the architectural plans.

What I try to do is to have the armatures of the column descending to the supports of the beam as we do in the execution plans

In my simple model both objects, beam and column can be design and both objects have correct forces when imported to design.

my problem concerns the reinforcement and not the results

While RC column design Robot calculates column reinforcement only. Reinforcement calculation for node (column to beam connection) is not available.
