Hi, just another quick query, I have added dead loads and live loads in a combination table. But my point load is not showing unless I change it in the box above, but then it will only show the point load. Please help

thank you for the reply, on the image its 173.01 that's with no point load calculated. Should the 173.01 not be more? to show the point load?

Its like when I select 1.35DL +1.5LL I get that load, but when I select LL2 I only get the point load. Is there a way of showing them both calculated together?

You have 3 load case:

1. DL1

2. LL1 (continuous).

3. LL2 - with point load.

The combination load (number 4) has DL1 and LL1 (continuous loading) - that's why you didn't see the point load influence from LL2 on moment diagram.

DP_IL is there a way I can rectify this? Do I delete LL2 & add the point load to LL1?

You can add LL2 to combination. The same as you did with other case.

Different way is to add point load to case LL1.

As I see, you have already added the point load with load factor 1.0 (is it as you want?).

Here's the results from this combinations for moments:

Are the same as yours?
