How to Learn ROBOT API Documentation through VBA?

Hi Community,

I am new to VBA and learning to connect ROBOT API Documentation with VBA.
I have written script for Beam Generation but not have clear understanding related to class, object, methods, properties etc. which are already in API documentation.
(Useful Add-ins for Robot Api on Autodesk Forum, I am learning through that thread right now) 
So, if anyone could guide me how I should proceed further and able to write my own script.
Ex. Are there any online tutorials or Books for learning available, related to API Understanding?
