Hi @mitica_iacob,

You can define such wall in the Provided Reinforcement module using ACI code.

Hi @mitica_iacob

The way of modelling is IMHO driven by the kind of the output of the results you need. What is your ultimate objective?

The idea is that I want to know how it is more right to define a structure that has its component and bulb diaphragms (70x70 bulbs).
Consider bulbs as column (2d-bars) or there is another method.
The goal is to find sectional efforts-like M, N, T, and T efforts.
If you define a 6m long diaphragm with two 70cm column on the heads is correct?
Because if you integrate it into a core wall element, ithink it does not consider column as a elements included in core wall.(define as a core wall to have quicly access of the folowing efort M,N,T)

Hi @mitica_iacob

The bar elements (columns) will be disregarded in the definition of core walls so you will not see their contribution in the core walls results directly.

So the conclusion is that can not define a diaphragm with bulbs?

Hi @mitica_iacob

There are 3 options to create them in amodel:

1. Define a vertical panel with two bar elements along its side edges. In such case the results will be displayed independently for each of them and the design of reinforcement will also be done for each of them  separately.

2. Define three panels with the outer ones having different thicknesses than the middle one. In such case the results will be displayed independently for each of them and the design of reinforcement will also be done for each of them  separately.

3. define a single panel with uniform thickness. In such case you can add the piers after exporting the panel to the RC Wall design module.
