How to copy nodes without the loads?

If I copy a node in my model that already has loads on it, the new node will also have the same loads.  Is there a way to copy nodes without the loads.  It is quite common to copy a node vs trying to locate a new one without any reference.  I'm guessing it's possible, I just haven't figured it out yet.  To have Robot automatically copy loads without asking seams like a bad idea.  If this is a "feature", please provide a check box in the move command that allows us to control this behavior.  It's a pain to have to check if the node has any loads before copying to a new location.

Hi @bjur

This is as designed and done in this way due to RSA users requirements Smiley Happy

You can see on this example the challenge software development teams are facing when designing a given functionality.  It is very often that some of us would like see something working in this way whereas the other in quite the opposite one.

Why do I have to waste time and define again the loads to the nodes I created by copying the one I have already defined the loads in? The same for bars. Would you like a support to be created in the copied node or no?

I'd suggest creating (adding) a new node in its final location and then copy it as required or just delete the last lines of the load table after you copy the existing nodes.

Sorry to dig up an old post but I had a simple idea.  What about adding a check box to the move copy dialog box that lets users choose to copy the loads or not?  See my attached really bad sketch of the magic button that would allow the user to choose.
