hollowcore planks analysis with openings

Can we model and analyze hollowcore planks in robot structural analysis? Does RSA do precast slabs and beams? ( i could not find in its literature)
ANy other suggestions as to how we can use RSA for my existing Hollowcore plank analysis with openings.

this is a hollocore plank with prestressed strands in it. if we make any openings and provide steel angle to support the hanging edge the load will go to adjacet slab or adjacent tendon and will create torsion in the slab. just want to analyze the slab for such effects and see if the slab can withstand if we cut any tendon at such locations.

For a more "global" model , you could use an orthotropic panel , use Linear releases to model the slab interaction with each other and insert the holes as "opening" contours.

But it will not represent the slab literal geometry , only its stiffness. By that i mean that you not be able to precisely locate the holes according to slab geometry.

If you need a more "local" analysis , then I think you will need to go for a solid model ,or at least a more refined shell model(upper,lower and web plates as shell panels)

Hi, 

 

If we use solid modelling, we cannot get reinforced slab core behaviour and it may not reflect the real-world behaviour. 

 

Solid modelling only offers linear materials.
