Flat plate

Hi

There is no flat plates in the section data base for me to use as a simple bar?  Also, is there a way I can get them to be tension only?

Hi @Anonymous 

For beam you can define arbitrary rectangular section size using Geometry >Properties>Section.

Bar can be defined as tension only using

Geometry >Additional attributes>Advanced bar properties.
