Filler beam deck bridge

Hi and thank you in advance.

My question is regarding how to model, in 3d space, a filler beam deck where the section of the deck is made with a RC deck with inside a number of steel beam, like IPE or HEA shapes.
So, is it possible to create a composite RC-STEEL element to rappresent this situation, or, maybe, is there another way to obtain the same result?

Regards.

Federico

With the studying different post that I've found in the forum (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/robot-structural-analysis-forum/composite-action/m-p/3382477#M3526; h...), I think to have understand how I can procede.

For the steel beam I will adopt the criteria shown in figure 1, where I will modify the value of the inertia for consider the real position of the beam.

For the RC beam, I will use an orthotopic plate where I will riduce the value of longitudinal E because I want that the deck has just ripartiton function in trasversal direction.

In figg. 2-3 is shown how the model is composite and in figg. 4-5 the results of the analysis due to self-weight.

Can you help me to understand if there are some errors.

Thank you in advance.
