Extraxting mesh data

Hi RSA users,

Any way to extract data of the mesh itself (in my case a 2D slab)?

I know we can get the element names for instance via Analysis > Meshing > Mesh refinement, but this is quite a time consuming manual job for bigger slabs.

Another way I’m aware of is getting the adjoining elements using the nodes table. Unfortunately in my case this option has been greyed out.

Best way would be getting a list of all elements, with a column of all nodes part of that element. Any idea?

 Try the "slabs and shells" table on View/tables . The Finite elements tab down below will probably show what you want
