Eurocode 0 - Equilibrium load combination

Hi,

With regards load combinations, how can I check which load combinations have exactly been taken for in the automatic load combination for ULS, I am design to eurocode basis of design of the load combination for equilibrium requires the axial dead load be taken as 0.9 x dead load and say 1.5 times the wind load to give maximum uplift on the panel in question, does robot load combinations with Eurocode check such an equilibrium load combination based on the attached clauses (see pdf attached)? EQU. i.e. are these covered under ULS combinations top and bottom envelopes?

Thanks,

Simon.

Hi @skellyRSA2023

The automatic generation of ULS combinations generates number of combinations following the rules given in EC. Each of them (known as a component) is listed in the following way ULS/1; ULS/2 etc.

The full list of the generated combinations can be seen in the combinations table.

Artur,

thanks for getting back. I have strolled down my load combinations which have been automatically generated however none seem to indicate the load combinations for equilibrium design i.e. maximum uplift/tension. when the axial dead load is favourable it should be multiplied by 0.9 rather than 1.0 as far as I am aware however all load combination only indicate 1.0 and are shown as ULS, does this need to be entered manually? has this ever came up before? see attached 3 no. sheets on pdf illustrating this. Is there a verification document which states all the automatically generated load combinations to BS EN 1990?

Also, its difficult to view the full load combination when it goes outside the tab view at the top even when I edit it to extend out, its only extends a certain distance, is there another way to view these?

Thanks,

Simon

Artur,

You can review them all if you export to excel, however still no equilibrium load combination.
