Errors during column design

Anonymous
Not applicable

See screenshots attached.

I have run analysis, and have results.

But when I try to design some columns I get errors. It appears that these particular columns do not obtain the analysis results, and so I am not able to design them.

I have set manual combinations, and some columns have already been designed. But other columns are not able to retrieve the analysis results, and present error messages when I try to update the rc element.

I have rerun the model a few times but no luck.

Hi @Anonymous

Could you attach this model?

Hi @Anonymous

After calculating the model and saving it with a new name I can't see any issue with the column update

It updates for some columns but does not update for others.

Try Level 3-4, CC5-3, column 3491 or other columns in the group of columns.

I get errors as shown in the attached.

As you can see (in the attached screenshots) I have run the model and the results are available.

Hi @Anonymous

The reason is that the information about end nodes and objects such as beams, columns, slabs 'linked' to them are missing. I can't tell what was the reason these already imported columns were 'detached' from the model - perhaps some re-definition of the floors?

At this stage you have to import them from the model again.

Ok thanks. No we did not change any part of the structure after importing the columns into the RC Column design.
