End condition for pipe in shell

I want to model a large diameter steel pipe equal tee in RSAP.

The problem is that I'm not sure what the best way is to model the end conditions of the pipe so that RSAP knows that the ends of the pipe continue beyond the shells that I have indicated.

I have tried putting a pinned linear support in over the ends. This is not accurate as the pipe under internal pressure will not lengthen but will expand radially and if I add a support that doesn't restrain the pipe radially then I get an instability warning.

best way to set this type of support is setting a radial support with a very weak spring  in the ... radial direction to satisfy "Robot instabilities needs" . Y direction will be the tangencial direction and Z the perpendicular direction to the diameter.

That said , You should try this type of support with no restraint at all in the radial direction . No springs , nothing. I don´t think there will be any instabilities warnings. Didn´t happen here.

Also ,you should check  the dimensions of your "large diameter pipe " as its diameter in this model is only 0.9 milimeter long
