I am currenlty modelling an orthotropic slab composed with a trapezoidal plate and supporting steel beams modelled as bars.
- where can i find the mechanical properties of this slab, including the position of the centre of gravity?
- is the slab placed at the centre of gravity or at the geometrical middle line (half the total height)?
- when applying an absolute UZ vertical downwards offset to the supporting beam local coordinate system, is this relative to the orthotropic slab centre of mass, geometrical middle line or other?
