Huge Number of Combinations of Loads

Hi,

When I run 'simplified automatic combinations' it takes about an hour to run and produces almost 250 000 possible combinations. Having this many makes it unfeasibly slow to calculate the forces in each beam etc to verify the design.

I think I must have done something wrong as this doesn't seem right?

Any help on how to set up the combinations correctly/make the process shorter and quicker would be greatly appreciated. My analysis of the bridge involves changing many components and running the model to see how this affects the behaviour, so waiting an hour for the combinations to run and further hours for the forces to be calculated is not possible.

Thank you!

HI @natalierr

You have to reduce number of loads to be combined. Try to increase step in your moving load cases.
