Cladding incorrect load

Hi all,

I'm getting a wrong load distribuition in some claddings. In the image below, with the same conditions I have two different distribution on the triangles (upper side of the diagonals). The ones which are OK with the real structure are the ones on the right (part of the load to the vertical elements, and part of the load to the diagonal elements):

The claddings are moddeled as one way, X (horizontal in the image).

Thanks in advance

The claddings are moddeled as one way, X (horizontal in the image).

On claddings dialog box , Dir. X relates to panel local X direction. If you then check your claddings local X axis ,Not all will be agreeing with global X axis ( your "horizontal")

But that is not the reason the load distribution is not being made correctly on the left side of the structure.

The reason appears to be ( apparently not documented on the Help/manual ) ,that there is a limit on the diagonal angle with the horizontal . An angle smaller than this limit(less inclined) ,makes the load not being assigned to the inclined bar(your diagonal).

Just made a little test with the sector where the 2 diagonals meet ( left and right sides) .

I Just raised the angle of the left side and and lowered it on the right side. Results proves this weird behavior
