Hi,
I have a few 6 story buildings with columns. Roughly 25 columns per story.
I will be exporting this to Excel for comparison with hand calculations. The problem now is that the numbering is quite illogical to me. I tried using the geometrical numbering function. A slight improvement, but still not good. Please see attached picture.
Ideally, I'd have the numbering for story 1 start at 1.1 at the bottom left corner and go clockwise, i.e., 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.
For story 2, I'd have 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, etc.
I suppose something like this isn't possible to do automatically?
Numbering manually IS cumbersome, but could be done. I'd have to make sure to avoid double numbering though, right? Maybe I could start at 101, 102, 103, ..., 113, etc.
Anyone tried to do something similar?
Alternatively I could of course just import the results directly to Excel and just rename the columns there manually. Might in fact be the best solution.

Hi, Romanich,
Thank you!
I already tried that, but it does not seem to work as I'd like it to. In fact, I started modeling a new structure this morning.
1. Axis definition
2. Place all columns for 1st story.
3. Use the geometrical numbering function.
Robot seems to number the columns according to axis name as well. So there is SOME logic to it, but I would have preferred a continuous numbering, i.e., 1, 2, 3, ..., 15, 16, etc.
But perhaps I'll just have to work around this some other way. It's not that important. I suppose I can rename the columns in Excel.
