Hi,

I'm modelling an industrial building by RSAP. But I didn't model any purlin to this building. Can I assign the influence of purlins into steel rafter and column; or I have to model it to?

You can put restraint into the rafter/beam without modelling purlins.Pls. see attached

be aware that the restraints concern only purlins linked to roof bracing nodes
