Bracket simulation

Hello I would like to ask, if could you help me to simulate steel bracket (support) in Autodesk Robot? I attached bracket drawing. I think I have to draw it in 3D in AutoCad and import it to Robot, but maybe there is other way to do it?

You could do it entirely in Robot with no problems using Shell structure type

So some mistakes during modeling , sorrySmiley LOL

 

1- Used bars and translation +drag to generate the panel contours . This is my favorite way of doing , because avoids "snap to (wrong) point"  errors ,which can cause lots of meshing problems in the future.

2- I Forgot to delete the "construction " bars  , and this was giving the instabilities type 2 on the analysis messages . 2nd video will show the correction.

 

3- a- Correct supports  for bolts are in-plane full supports (Uy ,Uz) and perpendicular to plate (Ux) with uplift on negative X direction (only tension on the bolt) .

 

b- for the Plate/beam/wall , only bearing "against" the wall (support by contact) ,so it is Ux support  only with uplift on positive X direction. 2nd video will also show this correction.

 

 

 

Instability type 3 ,in this case ,can be ignored.

As you can see in the video , my "animated deformation is not working. It goes to the actual deformed shape and stays there.
 
Also a sugestion , it would be good if we can have a map showing the plate reactions as we have for elastic ground on plate thickness definition
