Beam Offset vs Rigid Link

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with offsets, in attached image you can see a steel truss which has at the bottom chord a rigid link on the left and offset (local, from beginning) on the right, but the results when considering offset are not correct also the diagram of bending moment has no sense despite the offset seems to be correct. Any advise?

Offest with shortening and rigid link in the same place? I suggest to shorten real bar and use rigid link (without offsets).

Actually on the right corner there is only offset which makes the bar shorter at least on screen (the bar is actually modeled to the center line), on the right side as comparative I have used rigid link and the bar is shorted manually.

Yes it seems better use rigid link and forget the offset.
